Value chain
In Par.co Denim we follow every step of the supply chain, without intermediaries, so we are able to control and to monitor it.
Denim fabrics are selected according to precise standards by trusted suppliers. The garments are made in Italy with a short-chain: 100% Made in Italy, the jeans are produced – cut, sewn and assembled – by small artisans and local companies, which are located within 35 km from the brand’s operational headquarters in Bergamo. We have carefully chosen those who take care of every step of our production chain, which already meets a quality standard that we do not want to give up: using organic or recycled cotton, natural yarns, washing and treatments without chemical agents and with the least environmental impact.
The materials used for our collections are organic cotton, certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), which defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire supply chain and also requires compliance with social criteria and a material in recycled cotton and polyester with GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certification, which recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model.
The washing and treatments of the garments are eco-friendly, no chemicals that are dangerous for humans and the environment are used. The laundry we rely on for eco-friendly washes and treatments is based in Bergamo. Through the laser technology of the Italian company Sei LASER, we obtain vintage effects similar to washing with water and chemical agents, thus reducing consumption.
Buttons and rivets are nickel-free and are produced in Italy in the “historic button district” in the province of Bergamo.
Patches and labels are printed with recycled graphite g_label®, which is the first label in the world to be printed using g_ink, recycled graphite. The waste graphite powder from the technology industries is recycled into a new printing technique. Recycled graphite is an alternative to chemical pigments and provides a new concept of a circular supply chain. Besides, g_label® is free of toxicity and solvents.
All Par.co Denim garments are cruelty-free, no materials of animal origin are used for the accessories. We reached the highest rating of the Animal Free project of the Italian non-profit organisation Anti Vivisection League (LAV)

Sustainability for Par.co Denim has been a priority since 2014.
Sustainable fashion represents an approach to design, procurement and production of clothing that maximizes the benefits for people and communities, minimizing the impact on the environment.
We bear in mind that 2020 is the beginning of a new decade that will culminate with the global review of the results of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs – Sustainable Development Goals), scheduled for 2030.
Responsible consumption and production (SDG 12) are therefore integrated into mission Par.co Denim mission, which arises from a rethinking of the jeans production chain to have cleaner, more ethical and more respectful products, also included in the perspective of the circular economy.
